Rental Agreement
General Terms and Conditions Applicable to all Renters 2009
The entire rental facility and grounds are expected to be in the same condition at the end of the rental period as it was prior to the rental. (Ordinary wear and tear expected). The renter is responsible for all damages or theft occurring during the occupancy of the facility and grounds. If damage is greater than damage deposit, the renter will pay the difference within 1 week after the rental. The responsible person must be present at the entire rental time period.RICC is a NON SMOKING facility.
GENERAL RULES:
* No one is allowed beyond the immediate clubhouse and playground area.
* No fishing or swimming is allowed during the hours of the party.
* It is the renter’s responsibility to keep guests in the immediate area of the clubhouse and playground and away from the lakes.
* No event will last later that 1:00a.m.
* No club property will be moved from its current location (Pictures, plagues, trophies, etc.)
* NO SMOKING in the main clubhouse
SUPPLIES:
* Renters may use kitchen facilities such as coffee pot, stove, refrigerator, microwave. No pots, pans, or utensils will be used.
* All other supplies need to be supplied by the renter. (Dish soap, towels, plates, cups, coffee filters, condiments, etc.)
DECORATIONS:
* No staples or tacks will be used to attach decorations to walls, tables, window sills, or ceilings.
* No tape of any kind will be used on the floor or walls. (Craft putty is acceptable).
* No rice, confetti, tinsel, bird seed, or silly string is allowed in or out of the clubhouse.
BAR:
* Club bar will be required if ANY alcoholic beverages are available and must be purchased through the club bar.
* NO ALCOHOLIC beverages can be brought into the clubhouse or club grounds from renters or guests.
* Two bartenders are required when there is a keg or more than 50 people in attendance.
* Bar will close absolutely no later than 12:30 a.m.
* Rock Island Conservation Club Dram Shop and Liability Insurance will cover renters. We do not accept other insurance companies Dram Shop and Liability Insurance.
* Bartenders will be paid the night of the rental for the entire time requested. Bartenders are to be Rock Island Conservation Club approved bartenders.
CLEAN UP AT THE END OF THE EVENT:
* Renter is responsible for taking all garbage, including trash from the pavilion to the dumpster located in the parking lot.
* After inspection by the caretaker or bartender, wipe all table tops and chairs before stacking up.
* Wash, dry, and put away all ash trays and any appliances used must be cleaned and dried.
* Remove all personal items including food and decorations.
* Rental fee includes sweeping and mopping of floors, and sanitizing of bathrooms and kitchen. If no cleanup by renter is desired, $50.00 may be paid to the caretaker.
* Any labor required beyond a normal clean up, deemed necessary by the Rental chairperson and Treasurer, will result in a forfeiture of part or all of the damage deposit.
* If any violation of the agreement is found before, during, or after said rental, the Caretaker, Bartender, or Rental chair have the right to terminate rental at any time and/or loss of all or part of damage deposit. Rules and fees are subject to change without notice. All fees will be refunded if cancelled before 1 month of event
